The Origin of the Holistic Entrepreneurs Alliance

The idea for an alliance of like-minded people who offer alternative or holistic products and services started as a personal desire to connect with others. While working with my business coach on November 23, 2005, I verbalized the feeling of loneliness that arises when sole-proprietors spend their days seeing only a small number of clients or none at all.

Why not create a group of holistic business people who would offer support to one another and help eliminate one of the downsides of entrepreneurship?

An email announcing an organizing meeting on January 9, 2006 was sent to a dozen friends and associates. That evening 24 people assembled to launch a different concept of business networking -- a group that would not fear competition but recognize the uniqueness of each business as evident by the uniqueness of each business owner or entrepreneur and would thrive through encouraging each other.

The Alliance began meeting the 2nd and 4th Mondays of every month in Virginia. By February, 2007 an additional meeting was added to serve the growing interest among those who live in Maryland. A power group of open-hearted, service-oriented colleagues is available to you.

Criteria for Membership

It is not what you do, but how you do it that qualifies you for membership. If you operate your business in a holistic manner - using a win/win approach that seeks the good of all while opening to abundance, you are welcome.
